Financial Assistance to startup
Madhya Pradesh Startup Seed Fund Assistance
- The selected startups will be provided with grant assistance up to a maximum of ₹30 lakh.
- This seed fund will be given to startups through empanelled incubators.
- Seed funds will be provided for:
- Manpower, professional services, consumables, hardware/software/raw material costs, manufacturing outsourcing, product testing, market research, market entry, commercialization, or scale-up.
- Restrictions:
- The grant cannot be used for construction work, facility creation, land, property, or fixed capital investment.
- The disbursement of funding installments will be contingent upon the progress of the startup, as reported by the associated incubator.
Startup Investment (Capital) Fund
A Startup Capital Fund amounting to ₹100 crores will be set up by the State Government.
- The government will allocate a maximum of ₹50 crores to selected and empanelled AIFs (Alternative Investment Funds).
- These empanelled AIFs will then invest ₹100 crores in DPIIT-recognized startups of Madhya Pradesh.
Assistance on Investment / Loan received
- Startups that receive funding, investments, or loans from financial institutions, banks, or SEBI/RBI-recognized alternative investment funds will get assistance at 15% of the received amount.
- The maximum limit is ₹15 lakhs per instance, and this assistance can be availed up to four times during a startup’s lifetime, with a total cap of ₹60 lakh.
- Loan repayment period must be at least one year.
- Support is also available for loans, CCDs (Compulsorily Convertible Debentures), or equity received under government schemes (state/central).
- Not applicable for grants.
Special Benefits for SC, ST, Women, Disabled, and Transgender Entrepreneurs:
- Additional 3% assistance (totaling 18% assistance).
- Maximum limit of ₹18 lakh, within the overall cap of ₹72 lakh.
- Available four times as per conditions.
