  1. Hotel / Resort;
  2. Wellness Resort;
  3. Apartment Hotel;
  4. Tented Accommodation;
  5. Container Accommodation;
  6. Bhunga/ Cottage/ Log hut;
  7. Houseboat;
  8. Motel;
  9. Wayside amenities:
  10. Theme Park and Integrated Destination Theme Park;
  11. Convention Centre;
  12. Tourism and Hospitality Training Institute; and
  13. Other Tourism Project, as approved by SLEC from time to time.

Criteria to be fullled to avail Financial Benefit

Hotel/ Resort – 

Minimum Capital Investment of INR 1Cr.

• Necessary category certification as per the Guidelines issued by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India from time to time

Wellness Resort –

• The Wellness Resort must have of following facilities:

• Accommodation;

• Landscaped green open spaces; and

• Avariety of wellness services

• Standalone units are not eligible under this category

• NABH accredited

Apartment Hotels

• Minimum Capital Investment should be of INR 50.00 Lakh

• Necessary category certification as per the Guidelines issued by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India from time to time

Tented Accommodation

The accommodation must have a permanent foundation and basic infrastructure

• The Tented Accommodation must obtain category classification from Ministry of Tourism, Government of India

• The accommodation must remain in operational for a minimum period of ninety days every year for a period of five years

Container Accommodation

The accommodation unit has facilities equivalent to Ministry of Tourism, Government of India guidelines- “Guidelines for Project Approval and Classification of Tented Accommodation”

Bhunga/Cottage/Log hut

The accommodation unit has facilities equivalent to Ministry of Tourism, Government of India guidelines- “Guidelines for Project Approval and Classification of Tented Accommodation

Motel

Minimum Capital Investment of INR 50 Lakh

• necessary category certification from Ministry of Tourism, Government of India as per guidelines issued from time to time

Wayside Amenities

Minimum Capital Investment of INR 50 Lakh

• The establishment is as per “Guidelines for Wayside Amenities

Theme Park –

Minimum Capital Investment of INR 50.00 Cr. • The theme park must have basic amenities like: Accommodation units  Digital Payment Facility,  Information booths, Medical Emergency Services,  Adequate parking facility (Min 500 Sqm)  Adequate Toilets, Baby feeding room,  Drinking water facility, and  Solid and liquid waste management facility

Integrated Tourism Destination Theme Park

Minimum Capital Investment of INR 500 Cr. • The Integrated Tourism Destination Theme Park project-based integrated tourism project for amusement, entertainment, and accommodation of the tourists and offers multiple facilities/ activities of tourist attraction at one location

Convention Centre

• Minimum seating capacity of 2,500 persons

• Vehicle parking facility for not less than 250 cars and 10 coaches/buses

Tourism & Hospitality Training Institute

The Training Institute must be recognized by Central/ State Government.

Other Tourism Project –

Any tourism-related products may be included under this policy after approval from State Level Empowered Committee (SLEC) for financial assistance

Public Charging Station

Shall be open to general public and shall be easily accessible

Exemption Of Electricity duty and Reimbursement Of Stamp duty and Registration Fee

  1. 100% exemption from electricity duty for a period of 5 years. * Based on the first electricity bill, the department will issue a sanction letter to the respective Electricity Board to exempt from electricity duty for a period of 5 years
  2. 100% reimbursement of stamp duty and registration fee shall be provided
