Innovative Green Hydrogen Production:
- Support innovative methods like floating solar, biomass-based production, and utilizing wastewater for Green Hydrogen generation.
Pilot Applications:
- Promote the use of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives for decentralized applications, such as cooking, heating, off-grid power, and off-road vehicles.
Feasibility Validation:
- Assess the technical feasibility of Green Hydrogen as a fuel for residential, commercial, and community applications, including city gas systems.
Sector Expansion:
- Demonstrate the safe and secure use of Green Hydrogen in new industries and sectors.
Budget outlay : Rs: 200 Cr
Pattern of Assistance
- Project Duration: Financial support is available for a specified duration, usually 3-5 years, depending on the complexity of the project.
- Disbursement: Fund release in phases, tied to milestones or performance indicators.

- Central and State Government agencies.
- Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
- Private sector companies, including startups.
- Research institutions, academic institutions, and technology developers.
- Project Scope:
- Innovative methods for producing green hydrogen (e.g., advanced electrolysis, biogenic processes).
- Novel applications of green hydrogen in industries, mobility, power generation, etc.
- Technical Readiness: Projects must demonstrate technical feasibility and potential scalability.

- Capacity Building: Support for knowledge dissemination, workforce training, and stakeholder engagement.
